Carlos Dadín "Tchavosky" was born on October 4, 1989, in a family of musicians in Portonovo (Galicia - Spain). When he was 9, he began to study flute in a self-taught way. At the age of 11, he entered as a student of the "Municipal Music School of Sanxenxo" and had been playing in the "Sanxenxo Wind Band" for 18 years (1st Prize in the XI Galician Contest of Popular Wind Bands in 2017).
He continued his studies for 6 years at the "Manuel Quiroga Professional Music Conservatory" (Pontevedra) where he studied the Professional Degree of Flute with Professor Francisco Seoane.
In the meantime, he continued to expand his knowledge in the field of improvisation with the teacher David Regueiro and within the SPJ (Permanent Jazz Seminar) of Pontevedra with the teacher Abe Rábade and attended jam sessions where he plays and exchanges artistic ideas with great musicians from the Galician scene and on several occasions with "maestros" such as Jerry González and Jorge Pardo.
In 2018 he finished his higher education of classical flute specialty at the "Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo" with professor Fernando Raña where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree of Music.
As of September 2018, he moved to Rotterdam (The Netherlands) where he studied a Master of Music in "Codarts, University for the Arts" with Abel Marcel, Mark Alban, Jarmo Hoogendijk, Anna Elis de Jong, Thomas Böttcher, Nils Fischer, and Santiago Cimadevilla. Upon completion of his postgraduate degree, he received from the Friends of Codarts Foundation the “Stipendium Award” (awarded to the 8 most talented students of Codarts).
He has attended classes and musical courses with Claudia Walker, Laurent Blaiteau, Thies Roorda, Jan Cober, Adrián Silva, André Cebrián, Manuel Morales, Albino Mattei, Pier Luigi Colonna, María José Ortuño, Marcel Van Bree, José R. Pascual Vilaplana, Juan Carlos Rojas “El Peje”, Rodolfo Argudin “Peruchin”, Antonio Serrano, Michael League, Jorge Pardo, Ton Risco, Dani Domínguez, Melón Jiménez, Pedrito Martínez, Alfredo Rodríguez and Richard Bona among others.
He has collaborated in some record works of singer-songwriters, music for film, TV programs and has performed in different theaters such as "TivoliVredenburg" (Utrecht) and "De Doelen" (Rotterdam) and renowned music festivals such as the "International Music Meeting Festival" (Nijmegen) and the "North Sea Jazz Festival" (Rotterdam).
He currently combines his work as a professional musician and a flute teacher in different music schools, conservatories and private classes in Spain and The Netherlands.

Carlos Dadín nació el 4 de octubre de 1989 en una familia de músicos en Portonovo (Galicia - España). A los 9 años comenzó a estudiar flauta de forma autodidacta. A los 11 años ingresó como alumno de la “Escuela de Música Municipal de Sanxenxo” y en la “Banda de Música de Sanxenxo” donde fue músico durante 18 años (1º Premio en el XI Certamen Gallego de Bandas de Música Populares en 2017 entre otros).
Continuó sus estudios durante 6 años en el “Conservatorio Profesional de Música Manuel Quiroga” (Pontevedra) donde estudió el Grado Profesional de flauta travesera con el maestro Francisco Seoane.
Paralelamente siguió ampliando sus conocimientos en el ámbito de la improvisación con el maestro David Regueiro y dentro del SPJ (Seminario Permanente de Jazz) de Pontevedra con el maestro Abe Rábade y asistiendo a jam sessions donde intercambió ideas artísticas con grandes músicos del panorama gallego y en varias ocasiones con maestros como Jerry González y Jorge Pardo.
En 2018 finalizó sus estudios superiores de flauta travesera en el “Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo” con el maestro Fernando Raña obteniendo el Grado en Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores en la especialidad de interpretación.
En septiembre de 2018, se trasladó a Rotterdam (Países Bajos), donde realizó un Master of Music en “Codarts, University for the Arts” con los profesores: Abel Marcel, Mark Alban, Jarmo Hoogendijk, Anna Elis de Jong, Thomas Böttcher, Nils Fischer y Santiago Cimadevilla. Al finalizar su postgrado, recibió de Friends of Codarts Foundation el premio “Stipendium Award” (otorgado a los 8 estudiantes más talentosos de Codarts).
Asistió a clases musicales con Claudia Walker, Laurent Blaiteau, Thies Roorda, Jan Cober, Adrián Silva, André Cebrián, Manuel Morales, Albino Mattei, Pier Luigi Colonna, María José Ortuño, Marcel Van Bree, José R. Pascual Vilaplana, Juan Carlos Rojas “El Peje”, Rodolfo Argudin “Peruchin”, Antonio Serrano, Michael League, Jorge Pardo, Ton Risco, Dani Domínguez, Melón Jiménez, Pedrito Martínez, Alfredo Rodríguez y Richard Bona entre otros.
Colaboró en algunos trabajos discográficos de cantautores, música para cine, spots publicitarios, programas de tv y ha actuado en diferentes teatros como por ejemplo en "TivoliVredenburg" (Utrecht) y "De Doelen" (Rotterdam) y también en grandes festivales de música como el "International Music Meeting Festival" (Nijmegen) y el "North Sea Jazz Festival" (Rotterdam).
Actualmente compagina sus trabajos como músico profesional con su labor como docente de flauta travesera en diferentes escuelas de música, conservatorios y clases particulares en España y Países Bajos.
